This blog is the brainchild of a late night soak in a hot tub. I was talking to my best friend about all of the bad dates that I had been on and all of the loser guys that I had met. Finally I asked the question that girls have been asking since the beginning of time, “Does this happen to anyone else but me?” This blog was born from that question. We started brainstorming and jotting ideas, and they are becoming this blog. I have learned so much about myself and my relationships writing these articles, and I look forward to hearing your stories and turning them into articles for others to enjoy as well. So keep you chin up and remember, no date is too bad that a pair of amazing shoes can’t cheer you up.
Some things to note about this blog: all of the articles will be written in the first person, although not all of them are my experiences. I have chosen to write the blog in this way in order to protect the identities of the submitters and the subjects of the articles. Not all of the stories are going to be funny. Some are written to make you laugh, others are meant to make you cry, and some are written to simply commemorate a great love that came and went. So I hope that this blog can make you laugh, and help you realize that you are not alone.
